Composite Decking vs Traditional Decking
Timber decking is still popular due to the lower initial costs, but composite decking is fast proving to be the more sustainable product.
Timber decking has a shorter life span and requires a lot of regular maintenance and upkeep. For all our projects, we only recommend Trex composite decking the No 1 leading brand in composite decking (we are approved installers). When designing any decking, the importance of having a well-constructed and supported substructure/frame is key.
